Objectives 1.1 Objectives of this conference This conference aims to discuss the problems and work methodologies to compare results and develop work projects among member laboratories SIEST network. It also aims to support doctoral and post-doctoral students in a process of communication and scientific publication. In this perspective, the papers presented at the symposium will be published in the review Educational Journal of the University of Patras UNESCO Chair. 1.2 Conference topics The chosen theme is expected to present and examine research works being carried out around several trends: (A) New approaches and innovative mechanisms for education in science, mathematics, technology, ICT and vocational education in compulsory schooling practices implemented in classrooms of primary, secondary and in higher and vocational education, teachers’ activities, formed trainer’s interactions, the introduction in teaching, elements of history and philosophy of science, on sustainable development, socio issues economic, etc. ; (B) Teachers’ training in science and technology: the plan of action put into place for future teachers’ training.
2. Organization The next SIEST Mediterranean conference will be held November 11-13 2016 in Marseilles. The final program will be available in spring 2016. The symposium will bring together thematically papers put forward by PhD students accompanied by experienced researchers and post-doctoral students from different research teams. To facilitate interactions and the dynamics of discussions, the papers will be published online in an electronic review prior to the conference, so that everyone is aware of it. For this purpose, the texts must meet strict standards of presentation and organization. If the form is valid and the deadlines met, the texts will be submitted to the appreciation of readers, selected by the Scientific Committee, to discuss and improve them for publication. Moreover, after the symposium, the best papers will be selected by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be encouraged to submit their text in an indexed journal (in French or English). Proposals for papers that bring together members of different teams will be particularly appreciated by the scientific committee. Finally, to facilitate discussion between the partners, a website dedicated to SIEST offered by Gestepro team, EA ADEF.
3. Calendar The submission deadline for initial versions of the text is 8 April 2016. Paragraph "instructions to authors" explains the constraints of writing.

4. Presentation of text: Instructions to Authors The proposed article (s) must be sent to the Scientific Committee at the latest by 8 April 2016. The text must meet the community of educational research required standards and use the provided stylesheet. The texts that do not meet these standards will not be submitted to readers. In addition to text, each author must provide a short C.V. (10 lines maximum) that will be sent in a separate file. The organizing committee proposes a style sheet: ∙ Articles written in French or English must include, after the title: name and surname of the author (or authors), title, function, home institution, address, telephone number, fax number, and email address. ∙ Articles should not exceed 12 000 characters, excluding abstracts, corresponding to about 6 A4 pages and basing on the attached stylesheet (Times New Roman font 12 pt., single spaced paragraphs, margins: 2.5 cm left, right, up and down: 2.5 cm). ∙ The title should be as short as possible (≤ 60 characters). ∙ The text should, preferably, be in Microsoft Word. ∙ Footnotes (very few), should be numbered (superscript without parenthesis or space, continuous numbering). ∙ Charts, tables, diagrams and illustrations should be provided in the text and also on separate sheets. The tables presented in accordance with A.P.A. standards. They should be numbered and titled (number and title will be placed above and centered). For tables, graphs and/or illustrations which are not original, the source should be clearly indicated. ∙ References in the text should respect the A.P.A. rules (Example: "According to the latest elaborations of experts (Amy, 1998; Smith, 1996; Smith & Smith, 1996), follow the findings of Durand (1994), even if the details provided by Dupuy (1995a; 1995b) Do not have to … "). ∙ A summary of 100 words in the language of the article (French or English) and 3-5 keywords should accompany the manuscript. ∙ A summary of 100 words in the other language and 3-5 keywords should also accompany the manuscript. ∙ References should be placed at the end of the text, listed in alphabetical order, in a single list not subdivided by type of publication, in accordance with A.P.A. standards (5th or 6th edition). ∙ The appendix, numbered in Roman numerals, should be placed after the bibliographical references.
